Enjoying cooking is all about confidence, being relaxed and understanding your ingredients. You’ll experiment with new flavors and combine the freshest ingredients with techniques, to build your knowledge of Thai cuisine. Our courses are conducted with a professional yet relaxed atmosphere – the ideal way to combine a holiday with enhancing your culinary expertise. An opportunity to really dive into the joy of cooking and try your hands at becoming Thai cooks.

Baipai cooking courses are short courses, conducted in English by Thai professionals, offer to anyone from beginners as well as experienced cooks, and perfect for those with limited travel time, too. Our experienced teachers will guide you through a session of  “completely hands-on“ fun filled courses with emphasis on the art of fine Thai cooking in a relaxed social environment. The courses concentrated on local & fine Thai cuisine using the freshest local & seasonal produce. You will be learnt during the class: traditional and practical Thai techniques as well as the substitutions to Thai local ingredients in which to ensure you can prepare the dishes authentically and innovatively back home. You will also experience the hospitality which has been part of our many years history.

The courses run daily from Tuesday to Sunday, 2 courses a day: morning and afternoon. 1 courses (4 hours) features 1 set menu.
 Monday is a school weekly day off – no classes.
Morning class from 9 : 30 am to 1 : 30 pm, and
Afternoon class from 1 : 30 pm to 5 : 30 pm

Recipes featured fresh, seasonal ingredients supplied by local producers. They can be tailored to your preferences, to cater both meat-eaters and vegetarians.

  
 


Q: Is the course hands-on?
A: Yes. Our courses are ‘completely hands-on’. Students get to prepare all the dishes themselves, 1 student per 1 cooking station. Then enjoy dining on the delicious Thai meals they prepared as well.
All classes are never more than 11 students to ensure adequate personalize attention.

Q: What is the length of the course?
A: The courses are short and very flexible. One course is completed in 4 hrs. You can take multiple courses consecutively, alternately, or choose to do any one(s) of your favorite at the time or any time at your convenience (subjected to availability).

Q: Can we choose the dishes we like?
A: Sorry, the menus are already preset and scheduled. However, private lesson is also available, subjected to class availability.

Q: Is there a course for vegetarian?
A: There is no specific course for vegetarian yet. However, recipes are very versatile; they can be adapted and therefore, prepared to accommodate  vegetarian and non-meat eaters, too.

Q: Will we be able to recreate what we’ve learnt at Baipai back home?
A: Of course you will. Although, some ingredients may not be available, you will be told the suitable substitutions as well as other useful techniques and tips to ensure you can cook Thai food back home successfully.

Q: Do we have to bring anything to the class?
A: Not at all. Just put on your comfortable gears. An enjoyable “hands-on” cooking experience awaits you at Baipai, and you’ll be amazed what you can cook!.
 

Students receive printed recipe handouts and enjoy dining on the delicious Thai meals they prepared.

The Fees are reasonable and affordable. The rate included transportation (round-trip transfer) for hotels located in centre Bangkok area, tax, a recipe booklet, and all use of ingredients for the class. [click here for the fee rate]
